Each client that steps into our store isn’t a model, so posing doesn’t come as natural. Many are afraid that because they don’t possess the same skills as models, pictures will show how stiff and unnatural they look. Knowing this we always take the time to explain and help our customers with posing. We have more than 10 years of experience, so we know what will be the best and most natural ways to move. After seeing the results, our clients are always delighted to see how great they look.

One of our recent customers, Eric and Kelly was in this predicament. They came in to take pictures for their upcoming graduation but were afraid the pictures would turn out bad because they didn’t know how to pose. We told them not to worry because we understand how they feel and we would coach them through the session. Turns out a little direction was all Eric and Kelly needed. Their pictures turned out great and they were so pleased.

To everyone that has the same fear, don’t worry. All you need to do is take a breather and smile, because there is nothing more beautiful than a smile and a relaxed mind.

So I’ve seen more and more Gatsby inspired weddings. For those of you that don’t know who or what a Gatsby is, he is a fictional character in the book “The Great Gatsby” written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. If you haven’t read or seen the movie yet I would recommend doing so. Anyways back to the topic, so I have been seeing a lot more Gatsby inspired weddings and decors. I have got to say, I really like it. It’s something different from the norm. It brings a sort of vintage vibe to the wedding. One thing that stands out to me are the embellished bouquets. I think it looks so beautiful. The sparks from an embellished bouquet are just different from a regular flower bouquet (not saying flower bouquets aren’t beautiful).  In particular I read one article on 100layercake.com and the bride used her mother and grandmother’s brooches to make her bouquet. Such a great idea of bringing old and new together. (But I don’t know how much I would want to throw it during the bouquet toss). I love it when people come up with the most unique ideas while still incorporating the latest trends.
